I guess every blog has to have a first post! So here we go…

You probably want to know what Singular They is going to be about.  Well, everything and anything relevant to gender in early years education.  First, let’s be clear about a couple things.  Gender is nonbinary and early years education includes children from 0-8years old.

There are a few blog guidelines I’ve come up with:

• Singular They posts should be short.
• Singular They posts should be easy to read.
• Singular They posts must spark ideas and provoke thought.

If the blog is straying from these guidelines, let me know.

• Questions you have sent, that I try to answer

To begin with I, Lizzie, will do all the posting, but in the future, I’d like to have guest bloggers.
